Double Crust Apple Pie
  • 6 medium Jonathan apples, peeled and sliced

  • 2/3 c. sugar

  • 2 Tbsp. flour

  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch


Mix dry ingredients together. Add to apples and mix well. Pour into a 9 “ pie shell and cover with top crust. Seal edges together with water. Crimp edges and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. At this point, you can place in plastic bag, seal and freeze for later baking or bake at 35- for 30-45 minutes or until browned.


If frozen: Remove from plastic covering and place on baking sheet or foil in cold oven, Bake at 350 for approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes or until browned. Remove and cool.
