Bader's Peach Dumpings
Dough

2 cup Flour

1/2 tsp Salt

1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/3 cup Shortening, cut in

Add 2/3 cup milk, stir. Roll out, cut in 6 inch circles.
Fruit
-
Place 2 Tbsp fresh Sliced Bader Farm Peaches

2 tsp Sugar
-
Sprinkle of Cinnamon

dot of Butter in each circle.
Fold dough over and crease edges with fork. Place in a lightly greased baking pan.

Syrup
-
2 cup Water
-
1/2cup Butter
-
2 cup Sugar
-
Cook, bring to boil. Pour syrup over dumplings Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
The recipe is a family favorite anytime there is fresh fruit (Peaches and Apples)
